Frankfurt am Main, October 8th 2024 – EuroTrophy announces new capabilities of the Trophy Active Protection System (APS) to counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and ‘Top Attack’ threats, expanding its defensive coverage to supply combat vehicles advanced protection from evolving threats.
Recently, the Trophy® APS has been proven in live firing scenarios and had successfully intercepted and neutralized multiple UAS threat as well as other AntiTank threats with extensive high attack angles. As seen in current conflicts, such threats pose significant challenges to maneuvering ground forces, often jeopardizing mission effectiveness and crew safety.
Building on its proven track record of countering a wide array of threats including Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs) and Rocket-Propelled Grenades (RPGs) in dense and complex combat environments, the Trophy® APS now extends its capabilities, ensuring comprehensive protection and resilience to new threats. EuroTrophy is the European hub of the Trophy® APS. Based in Germany, the company is the only provider of a European made, combat proven, NATO fielded Active Protection System.
